Rules & Conditions of Entry
1. All persons entering the showground shall be bound by these rules and regulations.
2. The organisers' and judges' decisions are final.
3. All objections to the secretary, in writing, within 15 minutes of the incident, accompanied by a deposit of £10.00, to be returned if the objection is upheld.
4. The organisers reserve the right to alter classes, cancel any show, and refuse any entries without explanation.
5. The competitions will be run under current B.S.J.A. Rules.
6. Rule 82.21 No member shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury
7. No refunds without a doctor's or vet's certificate.
8. Numbers will be strictly limited.
9. Hard hats must be worn at all times when mounted. All riders must wear the current B.S.I. standard hat when jumping, including using the practice jump. Chin straps must be fastened.
10. All dogs must be kept on leads.
11. All horses and ponies must be 4 years old or over.
12. The organisers reserve the right to withhold or reduce the prize money if there are insufficient starters, in accordance with B.S.J.A. rule 76(6).
13. Galloping and excessive use of the practice area is strictly forbidden.
14. Manure from lorries or trailers MUST be disposed of in the muck container provided.
15. Please take ALL your litter home with you or dispose of it in the bins provided.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organiser, neither the organiser nor representatives accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever.
HEALTH AND SAFETY The organiser has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all the officials and stewards.
